GRANTMAKING

Annual Grants

The Dannonmbi NGO Annual Grants Program is designed to empower communities and drive sustainable development across Nigeria. Through targeted funding in critical areas such as health, education, and community development, Dannonmbi works to transform lives and uplift underserved populations. These grants are awarded to innovative projects that address pressing social issues, build capacity, and foster long-term impact at both local and national levels.

Main Grant

The Main Grant is a flagship initiative of Dannonmbi, supporting large-scale programs that align with the organization’s core focus on education and health. Open to NGOs across Nigeria, this grant enables the implementation of impactful projects that address systemic challenges such as:

  • Improving access to quality healthcare.
  • Strengthening primary and secondary education.
  • Supporting initiatives to reduce maternal and child mortality.

Dannonmbi encourages proposals that prioritize sustainability, scalability, and measurable outcomes, ensuring that funded projects continue to benefit communities well beyond the grant period.

Community Funds

Dannonmbi’s Community Funds initiative is tailored for grassroots organizations operating in Taraba and Edo States, the founder's home regions. These funds are dedicated to addressing unique socio-economic challenges faced by communities in these areas.

The Community Funds aim to:

  • Support small NGOs and community-based organizations (CBOs) to implement projects in health, education, and livelihoods.
  • Address rural challenges such as access to clean water, primary healthcare, and school infrastructure.
  • Provide technical and institutional support to grassroots organizations to strengthen their operations and maximize impact.

Since its inception, the Community Funds have empowered countless small organizations to bring transformative change to their communities by ensuring direct, localized support.

The Annual Grants Program seeks to partner with organizations that share Dannonmbi's vision for a healthier, more educated, and empowered Nigeria. Eligible applicants must demonstrate their ability to develop and execute impactful projects that improve health outcomes, enhance access to education, and address critical community needs.
